DIY Coconut Oil Hair Spritz

Most of us girls lust for soft, shiny, healthy hair, and that’s why hair oil has become a huge craze! Hair oils are popping up everywhere, promising to transform your hair into the manageable locks that you dream of. So, of course, we all want to try it, right?! We’ve found that most hair oils sold in drug or department stores are way over-priced, and some brands even test on animals, which is definitely not cool. That’s why we’re sharing our fave DIY hair oil recipe.

You can buy coconut oil at your local supermarket. Our favorite brand is Trader Joe’s Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, which costs around $7 and lasts forever.

Coconut-Hair

What You’ll Need

  • Jar of coconut oil
  • Empty spray bottle
  • Water

What to Do

  1. Add 2 to 3 tablespoonfuls of coconut oil to the spray bottle.
  2. Fill the rest of the spray bottle with warm water (the coconut oil will melt right away) and fasten the top of the spray bottle. Shake well.
  3. Spritz the oil onto damp or dry locks.

Your hair will be healthier and look more glamorous instantly. Did we mention how delicious you’ll smell?

Psst … Coconut oil is packed with healthy nutrients and hair-strengthening vitamin E!
