3 Things to Expect After Going Vegan

Going vegan is the single best thing that we can do for animals and for ourselves. Don’t believe me? Check out these three things to expect after going vegan:

  1. Awesome skin: No need to purchase those expensive skin-care treatments anymore! Plant-based diets are typically low in fat and avoid the pore-clogging saturated fats found in animal products. Fruits and vegetables are high in essential vitamins and antioxidants, which are the building blocks for radiant skin—you’ll be glowing in no time!
  2. Lots of energy: Feeling sluggish? Going vegan can help with that! Vegans are, on average, up to 20 pounds lighter than meat-eaters are. And unlike unhealthy foods, which leave you feeling tired, eating vegan will keep you feeling light and full of energy.
  3. Happiness knowing that you’re making a difference: You’ll be saving more than 100 animals a year just by choosing not to eat flesh—how cool is that?! You’ll also help reduce climate change and world hunger. :)
So, what are you waiting for? Take advantage of all these benefits and help animals at the same time by going vegan! Oh, and don’t forget to try our super-easy and delicious recipes.

P.S. Keep in mind that when going vegan, your body might need to get used to not having the chemicals and additives found in yucky foods like cheese, milk, and meat. But you will see all the benefits above (and more!) soon afterward. :)

I’m not allowed by my parents to go vegan yet :( I have to just be vegetarian for the time being.

@reptilegirl The same for myself…it’s unfortunate and making me feel guilty when I have to eat something with eggs or dairy in it, but I will never eat flesh again. And once I’m on my own, i’ll be strictly vegan.

my parents used to try to do the same thing when i was younger and “not let me” be vegan, but in reality nobody can make you eat anything, so i just didn’t eat something if it contained an animal product and eventually they just stopped trying. If you really wanna do it then stop eating the food they make you that has animals in it or just make your own. hopefully they’ll get the picture that you really want this and be supportive of your choice
