Vegan Slumber Party Must-Haves

You’ve had the weekend planned out for days now: Your best friend is having a slumber party, and you’re super-excited. Everything has been decided, from which pajamas you’ll wear to which games you’ll play. What’s that, though? You’re a little nervous because your friends aren’t vegan and you’re sure that there won’t be anything for you to eat? Don’t worry! We’ve all been there, and it’s no biggie. Just pack a few extra items in your overnight bag, and everything will go smoothly.

Here are some animal-friendly suggestions to pack for the evening:

Bring your own snacks! Popcorn, Clif Bars, Sour Patch Kids, and Oreos are all yummy options. Plus, they’re so delish that your friends might even ask you to share. Most sodas are also vegan. Do you like Coke, Sprite, or root beer? Guess what? They’re all accidentally vegan.

If you and your friends love nail polish, bring along your fave cruelty-free picks. NYX makes awesome polish colors that are fun and vibrant.

Your friends are probably kind enough to order vegetarian pizza, but maybe they’re not willing to try vegan pizza. That being said, it might be a good idea to bring your own frozen pizza. Pick up Amy’s brand Vegan Margherita Pizza.

Breakfast is simple! All fruits are vegan, and if you want something to go along with your fruit, pack some soy or coconut milk yogurt.

Are you sure about Oreo? On their official site they say that it’s vegeterian, but not vegan.

They’re vegan in the US! Some Oreos are not vegan in the UK and other countries. 🙁

I’ll keep those tips in mind. If I ever get invited to a slumber party or decide to throw one, these are for me.
