David Boreanaz Is an "Angel" for Animals
Since the recent grand finale of WB’s hit show Angel, star David Boreanaz has been busy helping animals. He appears in a new ad campaign for PETA, along with his dogs, Fritz and Bertha Blue, and the tagline “Be your dogs’ angel. Play with them … take them for nice long walks … don’t ever chain them.”
Every day, millions of dogs are left chained and unattended in backyards across the U.S., shivering in the cold or panting from the heat, often with no more than a shoddy, makeshift shelter to protect them from the elements.
Living day after day in isolation causes loneliness and distress for these social, pack-oriented animals.
You can improve the lives of dogs suffering from cruelty and neglect by joining the peta2 Street Team and helping animals in your community.
Remember, dogs are depending on people like you and David Boreanaz to speak up and give them a chance for a better life. So please join David in becoming an "Angel for Animals" by taking the pledge below!
Pledge to be an Angel for Animals!
Full Pledge Text:
I pledge to be an angel for animals and a better guardian for my animal companions. I promise to spend more time with them each day, take them on walks, play with them, give them lots of love and attention, and make sure that they have plenty of fresh water, food, and treats. I will never crate them, chain them, or allow them to wander outdoors without supervision. And I will also be on the lookout for chained dogs and other mistreated animals!
