We all know that PETA2 is here to help animal rights activists at all levels and also to give people the facts about cruelty to animals and change some minds along the way.
Enter Drea de Matteo, the actor that plays “Adriana” on
HBO’s The Sopranos. PETA2 caught up with her at Sundance.
This girl has got a reputation for being as bad as you are allowed to be
in Hollywood. She gets misquoted and is misunderstood. But she loves animals
and she wants to help. She isn’t veg, but we dig her because of her
message to anyone that will listen—animals are people, too, and her
dogs are more important to her than anything else. She’s naughty but
nice to animals, and maybe we’ll get to change her mind about cows
and chickens along the way.
She’s in a wild new movie that premiered at Sundance called Prey for Rock and Roll where she plays a strung-out rocker. It may not make it in a theater near you, but it’s worth checking out if you can get a hold of it.
