Did you ever have that dream where you’re swimming in a vault full of gold coins like Scrooge McDuck from Duck Tales? Yeah, us neither. Frankly, it sounds painful. But speaking of birds and tons of loot, you’re gonna want to stroke The Raveonettes’ feathers when you hear what they’ve got for you!
The Danish 50s-rock duo, Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo, have been clawing their way up the charts and flying across the world, but do they ever have trouble finding bird-friendly food to peck at? “No! Not at all,” Sharin told IGN Entertainment. “Actually I think the States is one of the best countries to tour with regard to the food you can get a hold of. There’s such a variety and actually the quality of service is really great here in the States. I mean, you have to be careful you don’t end up doing the whole fast-food thing, but that’s a worldwide thing; it’s universal.”
To thank you for continuing the fast-food fight against KFC, The Raveonettes are giving away their new Pretty in Black CD, a 7" colored vinyl single, which features their “Ode to LA” and “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” a Raveonettes poster, plus stickers and pins galore! Think it can’t get any better? Well, multiply that by three!
