'Sugar' Shane Mosley's 'Save the Seals' Ad

Canada's baby seals have a powerhouse on their side in "Sugar" Shane Mosley. The current World Boxing Association welterweight champion is speaking out against the annual massacre in which tens of thousands of baby seals are killed for their fur.

After learning that baby seals—many of whom are so young that they haven't even taken their first swim—are bludgeoned or shot to death in front of their helpless fellow seals, Shane took time out of his hectic training regimen to pose for peta2's "Save the Seals" ad series.

We're glad that Shane is in the seals' corner. It's time for the Canadian government to listen to him and countless others worldwide who are calling for a permanent end to the annual seal slaughter.
