Daniella Alonso loves animals. No, really, she means it. When we met up with the bubbly One Tree Hill beauty at Sundance, she took a break from promoting her flick, Rhythm of the Saints, to talk to us about animals.
Daniella’s last television role brought her into our homes daily as Pilar, the bad girl on As the World Turns. But according to Daniella, Pilar and her current One Tree Hill character, Anna, are worlds apart. Anna is the nice new girl in town whose biggest problems are dealing with her controlling twin brother, Felix (Michael Copon), and dating Lucas (fellow animal lover and hottie Chad Michael Murray). That is, until she recently revealed to Lucas that she likes girls, too … oh, the drama! We’ll all be glued to our sets to see what happens next. Don’t act like you won’t be, too.
One thing we really like about Daniella is that she’s not all talk. At an early age, she started rescuing strays off the street and volunteering at animal shelters. We’ll let you hear the rest from the lovely Daniella herself. She stole our hearts that day, and she’s about to run off with yours, too.
