All Time Low and We the Kings

By Megan Rondeau

I'd like to consider myself somewhat of a pop punk aficionado, well versed in the ways of Warped Tour, stage dives, New Found Glory, and Green Day. Every so often, new bands make their way onto the scene and pick up where the old ones left off. Two bands currently selling out tours and taking over the charts, All Time Low and We the Kings, recently sat down with peta2 to talk about the animal rights issues that mean the most to them.

When the boys in All Time Low were in high school, they looked up to bands like Fall Out Boy and idolized Blink-182. I think it's safe to say that things have come full circle for these four kids from Maryland. They spent the better part of the year playing for thousands of fans every night on Fall Out Boy's sold-out tour and recently got to work with Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus for a track on their new album, Nothing Personal. Did I mention that they also have a sponsorship with clothing company Glamour Kills (who designed this bad boy) and that their album debuted at number four on the Billboard charts? Not a bad year, right?

Their friends in We the Kings aren't doing too shabby themselves! Hailing from the sunshine state, these Bradenton, Florida, natives were playing shows with Fall Out Boy before they were signed to a record label! With Bamboozle and Warped Tour appearances under their belt, We the Kings is preparing to conquer the pop punk world with the release of their new album, Smile Kid.

Here are Rian and Alex of All Time Low and Travis and Hunter of We the Kings showing some love for peta2 and helping spread the word about the important steps you can take to help animals:
