Happy Birthday, peta2!

Can you believe peta2’s been around for five years already? We certainly can’t, but you know what they say about time flyin’ when you’re having fun—and fun we’ve certainly had! In the past five years, peta2’s worked with more than 300 of your favorite bands, athletes, clothing companies, and actors, who all have two endearing traits in common—their love of animals and their devotion to making the world a better place for them. So please sit back and enjoy this little tribute to a bunch of kick-ass friends, who, along with all of YOU, helped to get Wet Seal, Forever 21, Gadzooks, Suzy Shier, J.Crew, and Newbury Comics pledge to go fur-free; Rite Aid to ban glue traps from its shelves; New Jersey to pass its anti-dissection bill; Jack Spade to stop selling frog dissection kits—the list of victories goes on and on, and we want it to keep growing. So if you promise to continue working hard and speaking up for animals who can’t speak for themselves, we promise to make the next five years even better than the last—if that’s even possible!
