From the same label as our friends A Static Lullaby, Alesana, and The Plain White T's comes a poppy electronica duo that is guaranteed to make you dance—Breathe Carolina! Combining influences ranging from punk rock to hip-hop, using homemade beats, and layering polished pop vocals with screamo shrieks, Breathe Carolina is in a category of their own, and we think it's pretty awesome!

Since their start, Breathe Carolina has stayed very, very busy. Whether it's touring with our friends Sky Eats Airplane and A Cursive Memory, playing both Bamboozles, or recording an electro-infused cover of Miley Cyrus' "See You Again" for Punk Goes Pop 2, Breathe Carolina is always staying active and keeping things interesting for their fans. While on the Take Action Tour this year, Kyle and David took time out of their busy schedule to talk to us about—you guessed it—animal rights! After five minutes of talking to the guys, it became pretty clear that these guys love animals. With topics ranging from their favorite animal to product testing on animals to dogfighting, no question was left unanswered.

Here's what the guys had to tell us …

I think it goes without saying that Breathe Carolina and peta2 are BFF now. There's nothing we like more than guys who write sweet dance tunes, cover Miley Cyrus, and love animals! If you also like what you heard, make sure you check the guys out on the VANS Warped Tour this summer (we'll be on the whole tour too!), and don't forget to to sign our pledge refusing to purchase products from corporations that abuse animals. To put that pledge into action is as easy as checking product bottles for the words "No Animal Testing," just like Kyle and David's friend they mentioned in the video!
