Underoath have been killing it for years. They've rocked Warped Tour, endured the madness of Mayhem, and toured the world several times over. So when we finally had the chance to sit down with the band's keyboard player, Chris Dudley, we were beyond excited! Be sure to watch our video with Chris, and enter the contest below because we have some Underoath CDs up for grabs. One lucky grand-prize winner will receive a copy of each of the band's last three CDs, Define the Great Line, Lost in the Sound of Separation, and Survive, Kaleidoscope. Two runners-up will receive a copy of Lost in the Sound of Separation.
Since the release of Lost in the Sound of Separation, Underoath's fourth full-length release on Seattle indie label Tooth & Nail/Solid State, the band has sold more than 1 million records and reached number eight on the Billboard 200. All this success must have a lot to do with the band's electrifying live performances, and take my word for it: These guys know how to put on a show!
Chris is a big fan of helping animals, and when he's not thrashing on stage or recording in the studio, he's at home with his three dogs. Check out our video with Chris. He lets us know how ridiculous he thinks the circus is, and he agrees that orcas do not belong in captivity.
Chris Dudley of Underoath chats with peta2 about why bears don't belong on bicycles and orcas don't belong in tanks as well as some easy ways for you to help animals in your town.
