From the indie ranks of Pitchfork to the more mainstream coverage of NME, the four-member self-proclaimed "racket music" of HEALTH has the music critics raving. After releasing their debut album to much acclaim, Trent Reznor himself was so impressed with the band that he handpicked them to go on tour with his iconic industrial rock band, Nine Inch Nails. It was on this tour that they continued to make new fans and impress critics with their electronic noise, haunting vocals, raw guitars, and collaborations with other artists, like Crystal Castles.
After we learned that all four band members skip meat at their meals, we scheduled some time to talk with them about how they got into vegetarianism, their favorite restaurants on the West Coast, animal adoption, and the environmental impact of the meat industry.
