Hip-hop's newest heavy-hitter, Lucy Diamonds, has a message for KFC officials, and she's not afraid to tell them exactly what's on her mind. This comes as no surprise to anyone who's heard her break-through singles "Sorry Right Number I & II"—this hot new emcee is no stranger to controversy.
After finding out that Col. Sanders' secret recipe includes debeaking, crippling, and scalding birds to death, Lucy—who has collaborated with multiplatinum recording artist Amil and mega-producer Easy Mo Bee on the hit single "Glamorous Life" and worked with DJ Head on her debut album, Poor Dream Redemption—decided to take her message to the streets. She even suggests that we pay a visit to the Colonel himself.

What set Lucy off? Before chickens are battered and sold by the bucketful at KFC, they are crammed into sheds reeking of ammonia and feces with tens of thousands of other birds. PETA's undercover exposé of KFC's factory-farm and slaughterhouse suppliers shows how cruel and disgusting conditions are for these birds. At a Moorefield, W.Va., slaughterhouse, we caught workers slamming live chickens against the wall and stomping them to death.
PETA's repeated requests for KFC to make simple improvements in the way it treats animals have fallen on deaf ears. So join Lucy and boycott KFC.
