A Rocket to the Moon at Warped Tour 2009.
The first time I heard A Rocket to the Moon was via a demo passed on from a friend. Even through the scratchy sound that's synonymous with demos and bedroom recordings, singer Nick Santino's catchy chords and heartfelt lyrics were stuck in my head for days! Only a few months later, the band signed to Fueled By Ramen Records and haven't looked back.
Since playing their first big show at The Bamboozle in 2008, A Rocket to the Moon has quickly made a name for themselves through relentless touring with bands like The Maine, Hit The Lights, 3OH!3, and Cobra Starship. After a successful stint on this summer's Vans Warped Tour, the band is poised for a breakout with the release of their debut album, On Your Side. In between autograph signings and backstage barbeques, we caught up with Nick, guitarist Justin Richards, and bassist Eric Halvorsen on Warped Tour to ask them one very important question—"Girls who wear fur are …?" Check out the video below to hear their answer to this and learn about all the ways you can stand up for animals.
