His on-the-street sneak attacks and elaborate practical jokes on the Jamie Kennedy Experiment on the WB may be harsh, but Jamie has a soft spot for animals.
We got our first clue that Jamie Kennedy is animal-friendly when he showed off his Tuno and tofu hotdogs on MTV’s Cribs. So we sent him a letter asking a couple of questions and he responded immediately.
PETA: Why do you think it’s important (for the animals, especially) that people eat more vegetarian food?
Jamie Kennedy: You feel much more healthy. I feel clean and clear when I eat vegan. Also, would you eat your cat? So, why eat a cow? I once was at a farm and I was staring at a cow and pet it, and he was so cute. I thought, I don’t want to chew you. You’re too cute. It felt inhumane almost.
PETA: What animal issue do you find most upsetting?
JK: Anyone who abuses an animalthat’s very upsetting.
PETA: What are some of your favorite foods?
JK: Anything soy. I love soy milk. Silk, soy cheese, veggie burgers, fresh juices, Terra chips, anything from the restaurant Real Food Daily! Tofu cheesecake, etc.
