Envy On The Coast's Ryan Hunter

I'm quite envious of the boys of Envy On The Coast, as they have had the pleasure of touring with some of peta2's favorite bands. Just a handful of those bands include Saosin, The Sleeping, the Audition, Boys Like Girls, and Emanuel. The guys have been touring like mad in support of their first full-length album, Lucy Gray, which dropped at the end of the summer, and people are absolutely loving it—including yours truly!

Ryan chatted with me during a tour stop in Virginia Beach about an illness that he struggled with for years. After trying a ton of different diets and medications, he found that only after cutting out meat did he finally find relief from his chronic stomach problems. And he's quite adamant about the fact that he'll never go back to eating meat again, making him the envy of animals—and animal lovers—worldwide. Oohh, did you enjoy that little play on words there?
