Rise Against's Vegetarian Ad

Rise Against is wonderful! I'm not just talking about their music, although that most definitely has a whole hell of a lot to do with it. What I think makes them the most wonderful is their love of animals and their desire to make the world a better place for them—everyone with me now: Awww.

Tim, Joe, Brandon, and Zach posed for this new vegetarian PSA, in which they proudly say, "The four of us alone save 400 animals every single year, just by choosing not to eat them. We can't think of a better reason to go vegetarian—can you?" The ad ran in February's AP magazine.

Now take a page right out of Rise Against's animal-friendly playbook and take our Veg Pledge today! I know you don't want to contribute to the abuses of animals killed for food, such as scalding chickens to death in feather-removal tanks, clipping pigs ears without the use of painkillers, and ripping calves away from their mothers when they're only days old, leaving the moms to cry out for their babies for days.
