peta2 Road Warriors
Get acquainted with the lovely people who are going to be coming to a show near you representing peta2! |
peta2 Campus Outreach Crew
Meet the rockstars who travel to college campuses all throughout the school year, working alongside students to score vegan dining options and victories for animals! |
Whitney
Whitney is a Southern girl from Tennessee who wants to talk to you about the three most important things in life: kitties, vegan food, and animal rights. When she isn't in the kitchen cooking up something tasty or chatting with people about why they should go vegan, she is more than likely watching reality TV, reading Harry Potter, or thinking about how cute her cats are (and if you're wondering, they are super cute). |
Rachel S.
This Georgia peach has always felt like a city girl, and now that she lives in California, she has the best of both worlds! When she's not watching movies, she's doing her part to make the world as peaceful as it should be. |
Amelia
This bona fide California gal works with college students around the globe, fighting the good fight for animals everywhere. No animal is too small, and no hurdle is too great. Can she do it? Yes. She. Can. |
Helena
Whether it's coordinating websites for peta2 campaigns, writing blogs, putting on your fave contests, or showing you the latest in cruelty-free fashion, Helena is thinking and breathing all things animals 24/7. When she's not fighting the good fight for animals, you can probably find her on the nearest beach with a picnic basket full of vegan food, hanging out in a studio with music peeps, or at an airport ready to take off on a foreign adventure. |
Paige
This Philly girl is your go-to person for tour life and outreach; she knows everything from how to be vegan while you're on the road spreading the word about animal rights to how to get by without showering for a week on Warped Tour. When she's not working with our awesome tour interns (aka Road Warriors), Paige is talking about nutrition, cooking something with seaweed in it, cuddling with her cat, or rocking out to one of her favorite bands. |
Christina
When Christina isn't eating BLT sandwiches and planning her next trip to somewhere that sells tempeh buffalo wings, cinnamon rolls, and faux-chicken salad, she's sitting dangerously close to her computer screen in an attempt to transition you into the magical world of animal compassion and bliss (bliss = tofu scallion cream cheese). |
Chelsi
Keeping you connected with rad bands that support peta2 is the name of Chelsi's game. If she's not reading or writing about—or listening to—the latest and greatest in music, she's probably at a show, hanging out with friends (and their dogs), cooking, or reading about food. |
Sunny
When this glittery fairy gal isn't sewing tutus and scarfing down cupcakes, she's blogging about going vegan and conquering the world with compassion. If you ever see her on the street, give this girl some confectionary delectables, and she'll be your home slice for life. |
Ray
It's pretty simple: Ray keeps a watchful eye on a lot of the awesome bands that come through peta2 as well as bringing new bands into the awesomeness. His title says he is a manager, but who knows what he actually manages. |
Cody
Cody has too many nicknames, too many sweets hidden in his desk, and laughs way too hard when a pug snorts. If you’re in an up and coming band he is your best pal! |
Megan
Megan works to keep you up to date and in touch with all the bands that support peta2. She loves Atlanta, cupcakes, the Boston Red Sox, kitties, and going to shows. Most people know her as "Megatron." |
Rachel O.
Rachel (it's pronounced, "Rachelle") came from Detroit, where she was working in animal rescue and was rescuing animals off the street for years. Now she works for peta2—writing campaigns, e-mails, and blogs in order to help you stop cruelty to animals. When not writing for peta2, Rachel can be found reading, running, drinking bubble tea, or helping chained dogs. |
Ryan
Ryan is your new best friend! This is especially true if you're currently in college. As peta2's assistant manager of college campaigns, Ryan organizes all of peta2's efforts to raise awareness on campuses around the country. Want some free literature or stickers, or just someone to talk to into the wee hours of the night? Ryan's your guy! |
Marta
Marta is the co-author of PETA's Vegan College Cookbook, and when she's not in the kitchen, she still loves talking about food with Street Teamers (and just about anyone else who will listen). |
