About me: I like to party—dance parties, pool parties, theme parties, house parties, all parties. My friends mean absolutely everything to me. I have three brothers, and I grew up surrounded by boys, so I love sports. I'm all about going to baseball games, playing football or basketball with my brothers, and sucking at skateboarding. I have six tattoos and a bunch of nicknames. I can be a bit feisty and kind of a troublemaker.
I like: Going to shows, car sing-a-longs, fort club, Fueled By Ramen, my kitties (Puffy and Misty), tattoos, New York, Warped Tour, good DJs, late nights, nighttime in general, sleeping, breakfast food, Diet Coke, Taco Bell, Tijuana Flats Fridays, texting, good hair days, Red Sox baseball, bagels and hummus, starting a new book, flying, road trips, Wes Anderson movies, Arrested Development, Freaks and Geeks, Johnny Cupcakes, Chinese Budha, and being with people I care about.
I hate: Humid weather, the Yankees, waking up early, airport security lines, being stressed out, American Idol, coconut-flavored anything, getting your heart broken, drama, and people who only care about their own self-interest.
Why you went veg: I've been sympathetic to animal rights ever since I can remember. Even as a little kid, I was able to make an immediate connection between the food on my plate and the animal it once was, and it was something I was never able to overlook. After more than four years of not eating red meat or seafood, I finally went vegetarian when I was 17. There was not one specific incident that occurred, but after educating myself more to the horrors of the meat industry and factory farming, I could no longer justify eating any animal.
If you were stuck on a desert island with only five movies (and a DVD player … and a TV) what would you bring? Rushmore, Say Anything, Mean Girls, Old School, and High Fidelity
What places in the world would you most like to visit? France, London, Greece, Spain, and Rome (not necessarily in that order)
How do you feel about Ramen noodles? During my time at Fueled By Ramen Records, I became well-acquainted with everyone's favorite cheap food—Ramen noodles! I have fond memories of the cases of noodles that sat around the office. Did you know that Top Ramen Oriental Soup is vegan?!
