I volunteer for the British Hen Welfare Trust, rescuing battery hens on their day of slaughter. I have 24 pets, including Ducks, Chickens, and one VERY spoilt turkey called Hannah! I love reading and science, and have been a vegetarian for 1 year 7 months.
