I’m volunteering at an afterschool program for junior high students, and the program tries to get the kids to participate in volunteering for character building. Last week they went to the homeless shelter, but I noticed that a lot of the kids wanted to go to the animal shelter instead. Hopefully I’ll be able to arrange this. Who knows, maybe it will inspire new animal rights activists
