Earn Free Stuff for Fighting Fur at Wet Seal

Wet Seal has refused to stop selling rabbit fur in its stores. We've come up with just a few ways for you to help the hundreds of millions of rabbits who are tortured on fur farms each year, and of course, earn some free stuff for yourself while you're at it.

If you need campaign materials, just fill out this form and we’ll send you a Wet Seal action pack. E-mail WetSealSucks@peta.org for answers to questions that may come up when you tell people what’s wrong with fur.

Activity Points

Organize a demonstration against Wet Seal.
Contact us at least two weeks in advance at WetSealSucks@peta.org, and we'll make the task of organizing a demo a heck of a lot easier on you. We’ll mail you all the Wet Seal leaflets and posters you’ll need, we'll send an alert to local activists to let them know about the demo, and we'll even contact the local media.

3,000

Leaflet 'til you can't leaflet no more!
Give our Wet Seal leaflets to everyone at school. Print a stack, and take them with you when you go to the mall. For an extra 500 points, send us photos showing how you put the materials to good use.

750

Write Wet Seal's CEO via snail mail.
Let Joel Waller, CEO of Wet Seal, know that torturing rabbits is never in fashion, and send us a copy of your letter. Use PETA's factsheets if you need some inspiration:

Voice your complaints to store managers.
Tell the managers of your local Wet Seal store that you are outraged to hear that their company still has not adopted a fur-free policy. Let them know that until they put in writing their pledge to drop fur for good, you will refuse to buy anything from their stores.

One suggestion is to show up to the mall when stores are just opening and approach the manager who is opening the Wet Seal store. Give him or her a leaflet and maybe even a "bloody" stuffed rabbit.

500

E-mail Wet Seal customer service.
Send an e-mail message to CustomerService@wetseal.com, and put StreetTeam@peta.org in the "bcc" field. Demand that the store make this fur season its last. For extra points send e-mail messages to CEO Joel Waller at Joel.Waller@wetseal.com.

300

Leave "Fur Hurts" cards in the pockets of Wet Seal's clothing.
Slip one of our perfectly sized cards into the pocket of all of the pants, tops, and jackets at Wet Seal. Everyone needs to know that Wet Seal supports horrific cruelty to animals.

300

Collect signatures to send a loud message to Wet Seal.
Download our Wet Seal petition, gather as many signatures as you can, and then send your filled-out petition back to us:

  PETA2 Wet Seal Petition
  501 Front St.
  Norfolk, VA 23510

We will send all the petitions we receive to Wet Seal to show the company that young people do not want to support cruelty to animals. You'll also be rewarded with 50 Street Team points for each e-mail address that you get.

250

Write letters to the editor.
Use the "letters to the editor" section of your school and local papers to speak out about Wet Seal's support of the cruel fur industry. Take a look at our "Guide to Letter-Writing" for a few tips. Send us a printed copy of or link to your published letter to earn yourself any item valued at $15 or less from the PETA catalog.

250

Post our anti-fur tear-off fliers.
Put our anti-fur tear-off fliers on bulletin boards, telephone poles, and other public spaces.

250

Sticker until your heart's content.
Leave anti-fur stickers anywhere and everywhere. Don't have any stickers? Go ahead and order a Wet Seal action pack already!

You can also print our Wet Seal stickers onto sticker paper.
