The Rocks’ Sarah Bacon

If you’ve ever seen hip London garage rockers The Rocks live, you know the meaning of rock ’n’ roll theatre. Half-crazed and chaotic, but always (just) in control, they’ve gained a reputation over the last couple of years as one of the capital’s “ones to watch”, and their music – a low-slung, highly strung combination of gutter punk and glitter pop – is pretty much impossible to resist.

Gorgeous guitarist Sarah Bacon plays no small part in making the band such an exhilarating live experience, and when peta2 heard that she was not just a rock goddess but a vegan one to boot, well we just had to investigate. We caught up with her in an underground drinking den to talk about veganism and the importance of living compassionately. Watch the video clip below.
