Texas Church Poisoning Prairie Dogs?!

Check out all the details below and then click "Get Points" to submit a form for points!

Can you imagine being poisoned and tortured for being in your own home?!

poisoned prarie dog

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

According to area residents, the Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Wolfforth, Texas, has set out poison to kill unwanted wildlife, specifically prairie dogs, who call the land near the church their home. People have reported seeing prairie dogs suffering terribly, dragging themselves, with blood coming from their noses and mouths as they die slowly.

Using poison is extremely cruel and can cause convulsions, vomiting, internal bleeding, and gradual cardiac collapse, resulting in immense suffering and a slow, agonizing death! Dogs, cats, and other animals are also at risk!

PETA provided church officials with information on nonlethal animal control methods, but we haven’t heard back.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Tell church officials to remove all poisons immediately, and ask everyone you know to speak up, too! Send polite comments to:

Huh kind of ridiculous that a church of people who worship the holy god and the 10 commandments (ei. thought shall not harm any other living being) would kill helpless defenseless animals.

I live in amarillo, and we have a lot of prairie dogs two. They are ABSOLUTELY perfectly fine. As long as you leave them alone, they won’t do you or anyone else harm.. I can’t believe they do this to these poor animals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

It says to leave polite comments. Being angry towards people only hurts our cause.
Its highly upsetting but we have to think of the greater good.

I sent this “Stop poisoning the prairie dogs!
As members of the church you should know that it is not right to kill innocent creatures, think of St. Francis, he loved animals and would never face this!
Those poor animals suffer terribly, dragging with the blood dripping from their noses and mouthes, agonizing in this state until death!
Using poison is extremely cruel and can cause convulsions, vomiting, internal bleeding, and gradual cardiac collapse, resulting in immense suffering and a slow, agonizing death! Dogs, cats and other animals are also at risk!

PLEASE, DO THE RIGHT THING, STOP THIS MADNESS!

    Sincerely, Elisabetta Riccio, from Italy”
