Animals are Not Ours

Animals are Not Ours

Bridget

Although I usually wear all black and am extremely pale, I lived 10 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean for 22 years and still love going to the beach any chance I can get out here on the West Coast. My life pretty much revolves around vegan food, iced coffee, going to see live music, hanging with my animal companions, traveling, forever learning guitar, reading, and speaking up for the rights of all living beings.

I first got involved with peta2 as a tour crew intern. Touring with peta2 was life-changing! I traveled to college campuses across the country in order to set up an exhibit that focused on the life of a chicken used for food. Throughout that seven-month internship, I was able to talk with thousands of people about going vegan and how they can take action for animals every day. Long story short, I applied to work in the peta2 office, and now I’m here in Los Angeles working full-time as a youth campaign coordinator.
