Studies show that students who use humane alternatives perform as well as, and in most cases better than, students who dissect animals. Studies have also shown that students interested in biology or science sometimes lose that interest after being forced to go through the traumatic experience of dissecting animals. E-mail me at AnnieL@peta2.com to cut out dissection at your school!
I have heard of this before but they say dissection is for education and to learn about the animal, if you still see same stuff in same place and everything I’d say it should be the same in teachers eyes. The only difference is you don’t need the to worry about harming animals. (I think)

All animal emergencies (injured, stray, neglected, abused, etc) should be reported to our Emergency Response Team, not posted on the Boards.
