    I really want to become a vegetarian. The problems are.. that will change my diet completely. My mom would have to shop differently and I have a strong feeling she wouldn’t change her ways for it.. Idk what to do.

    If you want to make a change, other things have to change, too you know. Why don’t you go shopping with her, or make your own food with whatever you have? I’m sure it’s not like you only have meat product in your house (in that case, that’s just plain unhealthy).

    How does your mom shop for groceries, out of curiosity? Do you usually have a stocked-up kitchen/pantry, or does she plan meals and shop accordingly by the week?
    If you happen to have a somewhat stocked pantry, I would suggest going through it and figuring out what options you already have that are vegetarian.
    It would be preferable to add as much raw fruit/veggies to your diet as possible, but there are -alot- of veg recipes that can be made from simple things most people already have in stock, like pasta, beans, and canned foods :)

    If it’s too difficult to go veggie in one go, take small steps: participate in Meat-free Mondays and Fish-free Fridays. Then add more meat-free days to your week as you get used to making veggie dishes for yourself. Good luck!
