My biggest struggle when going vegan was not always having something sweet available. My family always has cookies and cake and whatever in the house and when I went vegan those things weren’t always available to me. Milk and cheese and all that was not and never has been an issue for me though I understand those things typically are for many making the switch.
Congrats ! That’s so great to hear 😀 I remember when I was still new to veganism (about 2 months in I believe) and my sister took me to a bakery where they made fresh pizza. Needless to say, I caved. I was pretty upset about it for a while, but I realized that just because I had a slip up doesn’t mean I have to give up on being a vegan. It gets easier and easier as time goes by Their have also been a few times my mum made soup with chicken broth and tried to pass it off as veggie soup.. Luckily I figured it out before I ate it. Super frustrating though. If you ever feel like giving up, remember why you started in the first place. Best of luck !
My family is great but they don’t understand my becoming a vegan nor do they try to. It is becoming harder for me to keep up with my diet but I refuse to go back to eating animal products so can anyone share their stories and struggles with me to help keep me going? Thank you.
