Adventure Student Travel: Promoting SeaWorld means promoting cruelty!
Vegetarian hip-hop artist and producer k-os has been the recipient of positive reviews and critical acclaim throughout his career. He often uses his songs as a platform to speak out against injustice and oppression, so it only makes sense that k-os is now asking fans to raise their voices for animals by always reporting abuse.
From a young age, we’re taught to adore and protect animals. Children are surrounded by animals, whether in movies, storybooks, or their own backyards, and they cherish them without even thinking about it. For some, this love stays in their hearts forever. Others, over time, begin to look at animals as mere objects; not as the sentient, intelligent creatures they are. They begin to be viewed as a commodity or an accessory, but animals are not ours to force into tiny cages on factory farms and slaughter for food. They aren’t ours to skin alive and wear on our backs as fashion statements. They aren’t ours to keep chained up alone outside, night and day, while we sit inside and pretend not to hear their cries.
Animals are defenseless when it comes to suffering inflicted by humans. Don’t let your voice go to waste. Never be silent in the face of injustice. If you know of an animal who is being abused, alert local authorities. Your voice could save a life.
