5 Amazing Vegan Popsicle Recipes
Nobody likes being the sweaty, stinky person at the summer block party (move away, arm pit–stained person), which is why peta2 is here to help you put up the perfect defense against those funky fumes … with POPSICLES! Not only will these yummy frozen treats help you keep your cool this summer, they also are totally vegan and cruelty-free. Holla! Check out all the flavors below and pick your fave.
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1 cup soy creamer
- 2 Tbsp. agave nectar
Blend all the strawberries together except for 2 and pour into a Popsicle maker. Slice the remaining 2 strawberries and add to the mold. Mix the soy creamer with the agave nectar and add to the mold. Freeze.
- 1 mango, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup vegan yogurt
Blend the mango and 1/4 cup of the yogurt. Layer with the remaining 1/4 cup of yogurt in a Popsicle maker. Freeze.
- 1 cup fresh watermelon, cut into chunks
- Juice and zest of 1/2 lime
- 1 tsp. Mexican chile powder (try using TAJÍN brand)
Blend the watermelon, lime juice, and chile powder and pour into a Popsicle maker. Add the zest, then freeze.
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup vanilla soy milk or almond milk
Blend the orange juice and milk and then pour into a Popsicle maker. Freeze.
- 1 cup prepared lemonade
- 2 strawberries, sliced
Pour the lemonade into a Popsicle maker. Add the strawberries, then freeze.
