peta2 Picks: Nondairy Milk
Pssst! Want to know a secret? Sometimes vegans drink milk. No, not milk from a cow—that would be gross, cruel, and unhealthy. We drink the good kind—made from rice, almonds, soy beans, coconuts … the list goes on and on! These three peta2 staffers shared their faves:
Milk of choice: Is it bad that I’m not loyal to one type of milk? If I had to choose, I’d say unsweetened almond milk.
Preferred brand: Trader Joe’s. It’s cheap!
Why: I think almond milk tastes less artificial when used in baked goods.
