2. Make them vegan food.
We all know that a way to a friend’s heart is through their stomach, so why not veganize their favorite dish and show them that going vegan doesn’t mean their taste buds have to suffer? Once they see how delish vegan food is, they’ll be begging you for recipes in no time.
3. Be prepared to answer questions.
Even if we don’t like to admit it, most of us ate meat at one point in our lives. We had no idea what happens to animals on factory farms or how badly meat is effing up the planet, so it’s important to keep in mind that even though you know all of that now, your friends probably don’t. That’s where you come in! Arm yourself with lots of useful info so that you’re ready to fire back with answers to any questions (“Where do vegans get their protein?”) or myths (“But humans are supposed to eat meat!”) that your friends may have. And remember to keep it posi—always answer those questions with a smile.
