This may come as a shock to you, but pain is pain in the animal kingdom. The human animal doesn’t feel pain any differently than our bunny counterparts.
So if someone tied you down to rip the hair from your scalp, wouldn’t you scream? Wouldn’t you try to escape?
Undercover footage shot by PETA Asia found workers who were violently ripping the fur from the rabbits’ sensitive skin as the animals screamed at the top of their lungs in pain.
After experiencing such extreme pain, some rabbits go into shock and are unable to move once they’re returned to their filthy, cramped cages.
The rabbits who survive this torture for two to five years end up having their throats slit and their dead bodies skinned or sold.
