If I had a nickel for each time I’ve been asked, “OK, but do vegans eat animal crackers?” I’d have enough money to buy a box—or three—of Nabisco’s Barnum’s Animals Crackers (which yes, vegans do love!).
BEFORE ☹ …
And ICYMI, after more than 115 years of sad packaging that depicted animals caged in a circus boxcar, Barnum’s Animals Crackers finally show animals free in their natural homes. ??
AFTER ? …
Following discussions with PETA, the brand has created a new box that perfectly reflects that the majority of society no longer tolerates caging and chaining wild animals for circus shows. ??
Never go to a circus that uses animals.
No living being exists to perform pointless tricks for human entertainment, yet all circuses and traveling shows that use animals treat them as moneymaking props, denying them everything that’s natural and important to them.
We’re thrilled that the next time we pick up this tasty treat, we’ll be reminded of the countless animals who will be spared a life of suffering thanks to the closure of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and the fact that many other circuses have stopped using animals.
