Ben & Jerry’s just announced that more vegan ice cream flavors are on the way, and I don’t know whether to laugh or cry from happiness.
Compassionate consumers can now indulge in the flavors below without supporting the cruel dairy industry or eating cow secretions. Mmmmm. And the new flavors are (drum roll, please) …
Non-Dairy Peanut Butter Half Baked
Yes, folks, I’m talking about the iconic Half Baked flavor that has long been a Ben & Jerry’s fan favorite. It includes pieces of peanut butter cookie dough, fudge brownie bites, and chocolate and peanut butter (*drools incessantly*).
Non-Dairy Cinnamon Buns
Imagine eating cinnamon-spiced almond milk ice cream with vegan cinnamon-bun dough and cinnamon streusel swirled in. Well, now you don’t have to imagine it—you can live it! This Non-Dairy Cinnamon Buns flavor might be the best thing you’ve never experienced.
People rejoiced last year when the ice cream brand released its first two rounds of nondairy flavors, which included Caramel Almond Brittle, P.B. & Cookies, Chunky Monkey, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Coconut Seven Layer Bar, and Cherry Garcia. And we’re expecting similar reactions once the two new ice cream flavors hit store freezers.

Ben & Jerry’s’ vegan line is made with almond milk rather than dairy milk, which is great news for both animals who are abused in the dairy industry and humans who want to do good for their bodies. Cow’s milk is god awful for humans since it is high in cholesterol and can increase your risk of developing certain cancers and other health problems.
These two new flavors join the ever-growing list of vegan ice creams that have been flooding the dessert market over the last couple of years. Other brands that once offered exclusively dairy ice cream—such as Breyers, Häagen-Dazs, and Halo Top—now sell vegan versions of their most popular flavors as well. Times are changing, and more brands than ever before are offering vegan options. Be a part of the future—go vegan today.
