One of Equal Vision‘s most notable bands, Chiodos have gained an avid following in the few years since the release of their debut album, All’s Well That Ends Well. They’ve paid their dues on Warped Tour, rocked the main stage at Bamboozle, had a top 10 album on the Billboard charts, and most recently, embarked on a world tour. Even with a schedule so busy that it would make your head spin, the boys were more than happy to sit down with peta2 to talk about the animal issues that are near and dear to their hearts.

Although it’s not always the case, more often than not, the most distinguishable component of any successful band is the lead singer. Gabe Saporta is Cobra Starship. When you picture AFI, Davey Havok comes to mind. And subsequently, Craig Owens is the face and voice of Chiodos. When he’s not fronting Chiodos, Craig can be seen playing house shows with his side project, Cinematic Sunrise; lending guest vocals to MXPX; or sharing the stage with super group Isles and Glaciers. We recently caught up with Craig and his bandmate Brian Southall to get their thoughts on vegetarianismanimal testing, and standing up for what’s right.
