A Michigan man was reportedly charged with two counts of cruelty to animals after he allegedly used a pressure washer on two dogs he’d tied up at a do-it-yourself car wash.
According to reports, the man has since given the dogs to a friend after being told to do so by detectives and a veterinary exam showed no signs of injury or bruising. While the dogs seem to be physically unharmed, the outcome could have been far worse.
"We watched these dogs being covered in chemicals that were for vehicles, not animals," said Nicole Gattoross, owner of Wash-Stop car wash.

Never use any product on animals’ skin or fur that wasn’t meant specifically for their species. Chemicals meant for use on automobiles and other objects—and even products marketed for use on human skin and hair—could cause skin irritation or even chemical burns on dogs. And NEVER use a high-pressure hose to rinse animals off. It could cause severe injuries or blindness.
