Miley Cyrus doesn’t shy away from sticking up for animals, and we love her for it. She even gets tatted up to show her support for animals, people, and causes she holds dear. She’s gotten tattoos to honor her beloved fish Pablow and her adopted Shetland sheepdog, Emu.

Miley just got a new tattoo of a sunflower blooming from a “V,” a popular symbol for all things vegan. That’s right—the “Inspired” singer is “Vegan for life!”

It’s been established that Miley is “The Veganest Vegan to Ever Vegan,” and she’s super-proud of it. In fact, she just dropped a major truth bomb on meat-eaters in a recent Instagram post:

We couldn’t agree more. It’s extremely difficult for most humans to imagine eating a cherished companion animal such as a cat or dog, yet many fail to see that eating pigs, cows, chickens, and other animals causes the same pain and suffering—and it hurts the environment, too. Cows and pigs are loving, playful creatures, just like dogs, and each has a unique personality.

Making the compassionate choice to go vegan feels, looks, and tastes good—just take a look at Miley:
