In college campus laboratories across the U.S., millions of animals are mutilated, poisoned, deprived of food and water, forcibly immobilized in restraint devices, infected with painful and deadly diseases, burned, electrocuted, and then killed.
We have a word for this. It’s called murder. So why are animal experimenters trying to mask it under the guise of “research”?
Well, students have had enough of their schools’ good names being tarnished by people who make a living torturing animals from inside locked, windowless campus buildings. That’s why they’re joining up with PETA to hang posters on bulletin boards all over the campuses of schools with notorious animal abusers, including UNC Chapel Hill, Harvard, and MIT.
Of course, that’s not all. In addition to the on-campus posters, PETA is also running attention-grabbing billboards and taxi top advertisements all around the schools, getting the entire community buzzing about what happens to animals in labs.
While PETA is still working hard to end these cruel and archaic experiments, we can at least rest assured knowing that the days of animal abusers committing torture in secret, hidden behind closed doors, are gone forever.
