So by now you probably already know that America and Taco Bell are pushing the breakfast limits with a completely new crazy (for real, this sh*t is weird) menu. And while most of the items can be made vegan—for the A.M. Crunchwrap, ask for the meat to be replaced with beans, the eggs to be replaced with salsa, and the cheese to be replaced with guac (aka “what breakfast burrito dreams are made of”)—the oh-so-hyped Waffle Taco can’t.
But don’t you fear, my little grasshopper. We at peta2 have teamed up and combined vegan junk-food knowledge to create:
Here’s what you need:
Bisquick pancake mix
Follow the package instructions, but use almond milk and ¼ cup of applesauce instead of the egg. Cook according to package instructions.
Vegan breakfast sausage
We love Gardein’s breakfast patties.
We used dairy-free vegan cheese slices from GO Veggie!
Assemble it all together, top with some syrup, and take a bite from heaven!
