The Vegan Report Card is up, so now is the perfect time to talk about all the awesome vegan food out there! Everyone knows about our famous annual Most Vegan-Friendly College contest, but some of the colleges listed below may surprise you with their not-so-famous vegan-friendliness, showing just how popular vegan food is becoming!

Oklahoma City University (OKCU)

Report Card Grade: A

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: OKCU is proud to support numerous vegan concepts on campus! The school claims to be the only campus in the U.S. with a dedicated raw vegan bar and raw vegan chef. OKCU promotes vegan eating, and its educated staff members talk to students, faculty, and visitors about vegan food. The raw vegan bar was even featured on the front page of The Oklahoman!

Carleton College
Report Card Grade: B

Northfield, Minnesota: This Minnesotan school offers Wild Thymes, a totally meatless station! Some of the menu might be NSFHP (Not Safe for Hungry People!), as options include vegan applesauce pancakes; vegan tofu Florentine; grilled leek and fennel salad with tomato dressing; quinoa porridge with coconut, almonds, and dried cranberries; roasted garlic tofu cakes with poached apples and beets served with white wine–braised mustard greens; and housemade ciabatta rolls. This school makes the grade!

Appalachian State University
Report Card Grade: B

Boone, North Carolina: Vegetarians and vegans can choose from a large selection of delicious foods at Appalachian State dining facilities. All its locations offer vegetarian or vegan options, and one unit, Healthy Select, serves only meatless cuisine. On the school’s online menus, vegetarian options are designated with a “V” and vegan options are designated with a “V+”. That’s right, vegans get a V+. How awesome is that?
