Black Olive Tapenade

Ingredients
  • 1 can black olives (or you can use green)
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped basil
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • some Parma, to taste (you could also just use chopped walnuts and vegan parmesan)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • a French baguette or some pita bread
Instructions
  1. Chop up and mash the olives (you can use your hands to rip them apart, super easy!) and mix the them with all of the other ingredients in a bowl. You want this to be a thick paste—but no need for it to be creamy, leave chunks of olives in there.
  2. Add Parma or other vegan parmesan to taste.
  3. Cut the bread or pita and serve cold.
