Grilled Tofu Sandwich

Ingredients
- 2 slices bread
- 1/2 block tofu
- 3 leaves fresh basil
- 2 slices tomato
- 2 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. vegan salad dressing
Instructions
- First, drain and cut your tofu. You can grill it in a few ways—on an outside grill, on a tabletop grill (how I did it!) or you can just fry it up on the stove.
- Before doing that, though—lay your slices out on a plate and pour the soy sauce over them. Throw your paprika, nutritional yeast, and salt and pepper (optional) on them and give them a few flips to distribute the spices. Now you’re ready to grill!
- Throw the slices on the grill and let them get firm and crispy—this may take about 20 minutes, but it’s well worth the wait!
- Once your tofu is done, put the slices onto a slice of bread and top with your basil and tomato. Drizzle your dressing over the tomato and top with the other piece of bread. Voila!
