Besides McDonald’s blatant cruelty to animals, there are plenty of other reasons to avoid the company’s seasonal Shamrock Shake. I’m not a health nut by any means, but when I read the ingredients list for the drink, I was severely shook, y’all. It’s full of preservatives and ingredients that I can’t even pronounce—but the worst ingredient by far is milk.

It’s f*cked up to support an industry that tears calves away from their mothers and treats cows as nothing more than milk-producing machines—not to mention that drinking a bodily fluid is just nasty. ?

No, thanks. I’ll stick to one of these yummy, healthier vegan treats instead this St. Patrick’s Day!
