Is Your Brush Hiding a Secret? Help End Badger Bloodshed!
Did one of these badgers suffer for your makeup brush?
An eyewitness went inside eight badger hair farms in China and found badgers trapped in tiny, filthy, wire cages.

One badger could only thrash as a worker clamped metal tongs around their back and dragged them out. Then, the worker beat the badger, stabbed them, and tore off their skin. All this so the fur can be taken and normally used in makeup, paint, and shaving brushes. 😲 Blending eyeshadow should NOT hurt badgers!

Inside every farm that an eyewitness visited, badgers had nothing to do but pace back and forth, chew on the wires of the cage, or spin in circles.
Many badgers were missing fur and had dried blood on their skin.

A worker hit, stabbed, and cut open a badger who suffered for at least more than three minutes before dying.

It might blow your mind how much you have in common with badgers. They’re super social animals who, in nature, spend a lot of their time with their family inside complex underground burrow systems they build. Their homes have separate “rooms,” including a sleeping area and “bathroom” spots outside. 🚽 Some of these homes are hundreds of years old and passed down from generation to generation.
Here’s another thing we all have in common: We don’t want to be trapped in a cage and skinned.
