What Is peta2?

peta2 exists to help young people like you make meaningful changes for animals in their everyday lives. peta2 originally launched back in 2002 on the Vans Warped Tour. A few years ago, we tried something new and dropped the “2” to merge with PETA, the world’s largest animal rights organization. Now peta2 is back by popular demand, relaunching to bring you fresh, new content to help animals.

Our Mission

We believe that it’s wrong to hurt animals. They aren’t test tubes, dinner, clothing, entertainment, or anything else for us to use—they’re individuals who can feel pain and suffer, just like us. YOU hold the power to make a huge difference for them, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.

Get Involved

peta2 has all the info you need to get involved in animal rights, speak up for animals, and start living more compassionately. Sign up for e-mail alerts to stay looped in on what’s happening and to get tips on ways you can make a difference for animals. Who Is peta2 For?

Whether this is the first time you’ve heard of animal rights or you’re a lifelong vegan, anyone who cares about animals—whether they’re in middle school, high school, or college; Black, white, or brown; or male, female, or nonbinary—is welcome at peta2. Everyone deserves respect, and just as we speak out against the evils of racism, sexism, and homophobia, we can speak out against speciesism, the misguided believe that other animal species are inferior to humans. And together, we can end this injustice.
