Kat Neyra

Kat is an animal liberation advocate studying English at Florida International University, aiming to become a journalist focused on social issues. As a former vegetarian, being exposed to the abuse behind the dairy and egg industries set her on the path of animal liberation activism. In the span of a year, Kat has attended multiple rodeo and meat industry protests with a local organization in South Florida. She’s joined peta2’s advanced internship program to accelerate her journey and be a direct voice for animal liberation. Outside of work and studies, Kat enjoys spending time in nature, enjoying vegan chocolate chip cookies, and watching movies with friends.
