Mission: These Animals Can’t Go Home for the Holidays—Help Them

Not everyone gets to spend the holidays—or any other day—with their loved ones. 💔 Some animals can’t go home for the holidays—spread the word about animals trapped in tiny tanks, laboratories, and cages to help push for change!

There’s NOTHING to celebrate about denying animals their freedom. Corky the orca has been forced to swim in endless circles in tiny tanks at SeaWorld and other abusement parks for decades. Cornelius, the rhesus macaque, was torn away from his mom as an infant because she was too stressed to care for him. He’s been imprisoned in the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center on the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s campus ever since. Tigers are exploited at roadside zoos around the world and kept from everything that’s natural and important to them.

These animals would naturally spend their time with their friends and fam. In nature, orcas swim up to 150 miles per day with their pod. Macaques live in troops of up to 200 individuals. Tiger moms share close bonds with their cubs. But because some humans exploit them for profit and others reward this exploitation with their hard-earned money, countless animals are forced to suffer in unnatural environments without their loved ones.
