Original post:
Dogs need your help ASAP: A guy named Jonathan Wilson has asked to keep and bleed many dogs on a property near Danville, Kansas. 😰 The Harper County Board of Commissioners will vote on the application on September 15—please urge the Board to vote “no”!

Wilson isn’t a licensed veterinarian or a registered veterinary technician in Kansas, so how is he qualified to take blood from dogs’ jugular veins? Crude animal blood banks like this are some of the shadiest places on Earth. A PETA undercover investigation into one in Indiana found that it warehouses hundreds of dogs and cats in kennels and crowded pens for life. Workers snatched stray animals off the streets—and even answered ads offering to give unwanted animals a “good home”—only to put them in cages and bleed them until they died.
With the success of community-based blood banks (which get blood from animals living in loving homes), there’s no need to imprison dogs like Wilson wants to do in Harper County.
